Law of Attention

We all know about the Law of Attraction.

However, do we know about the Law of Attention?

I am not referring to the principle that what you focus your attention on will tend to manifest or grow in your experience.

I am referring to challenges that my clients are facing in this overcommunicates world, where we are bombarded with hundreds of commercial or content daily, that we need to make extra efforts to get people’s attention where we want to communicate or convey something important.

Think about this for a second.

How do you cultivate attention from your prospects, colleagues or friends in your spheres?

What I’ve observed from some of my successful colleagues on LinkedIn, including some of my own experiences, is that getting attention from others requires that we make a conscious effort to create that magnetic effect.

Here’re some practical tips that I find magnetic and effective:

  • Share content that wake people up
  • Bring your best energy to work everyday
  • Listen with your eyes and heart, not just ears
  • Speak the truth with care and compassion
  • Show up as a leader consistently
  • Optimize your energy in creating impact, not creating drama

There you have it. I will expand on some of these in the next few weeks because I believe authenticity in select areas will help you get attention from your prospects, colleagues and friends in your spheres.

When you have their attention, you can then build trust and communicate your values. That makes it an easy pathway to market and sell your products or services.

Please share and forward if you find these tips helpful!
